No justice

I never thought the old coot would actually die. I can hardly even spare time to say rest in peace, because the first thing my mind screamed to the exclusion of all else when I saw the headline was, "Holy crap! Now our little shrub-in-chief gets to appoint two justices, not just one."

I think my next project (after getting Tulane refugees enrolled at the school where I work*) will be stockpiling massive quantities of birth control.

*Please contact me if you have a friend or family member who was enrolled at Tulane for this fall semester and who is looking for an accredited college in or around Boston to attend for the semester but who does not need on-campus housing. For a limited time, I can hook them up, tuition-free.

Shelley, what a kind gesture you are doing! Are paying the tuitions by yourself? You are a very very kind person!

No Justice is right. And, I'm so glad to hear you're able to help.

If you USE birth control, you probably have less to fear with the Bush appointees. Regardless, if you value the freedom of choice, we all are likely to lose.

Not that I love the idea of Big Dub picking another of his buddies for the panel, but didn't Rehnquist vote against choice on Roe v. Wade anyway? Or am I confusing him with someone else?
