Longest week evar

Despite having taken Monday off, I never thought Friday would hurry up and get here. Now that it's here, I still have so much to do that I wish it was only Wednesday.

(Okay, not really. But how the f*ck am I gonna finish all the piles o' work on my desk by 5?)

Also, it's only the 17th and I don't get paid again until the 30th, and I'm pretty much broke already. Seems I was a little overly optimistic in paying a few of my bills at the beginning of the month (again).

I haven't heard back officially about a job interview I had over a month ago. Unofficially I heard that I'm being asked back for a second interview, but it would be wicked nice to know for sure one way or the other.

The crush was unexpectedly (in place of his boss) in a meeting I was at this morning and I suddenly realized I am wearing the same outfit I wore Saturday when he and I and a few other friends went out together. At first I felt embarrassed, but maybe I shouldn't be so worried that he may have noticed I was wearing the same clothes again: Saturday I was showing cleavage, whereas today I was all buttoned up, and today I noticed he kept looking at where the cleavage should have been. *ahem* I guess the power of suggestion is almost as good as the real thing.

Tonight I'm going to a high school production of Seussical starring the granddaughter of family friends. Allegedly this young lady is earning big kudos for her performance, but I can't say I'm optimistic about the whole thing. I mean, I like Dr. Seuss books as much as the next person, but I don't know that I need an Ice Capades version of them, minus the ice.

Tomorrow night I may go to a musical theater production at the college where I work. Most of the productions here are pretty good quality so my hopes are high. I'll let you know how it goes. What are you up to this weekend?

Christine: Well, if Jess says it's okay, then I'm good. :-) (Seriously.) (Thanks.)

Not-so-Cynical: Always with the grading and the relatives (or the cats). What is it with you? ;-P

Nothing, other than dropping off baseball equipment, dropping off stuff at goodwill, mailing stuff to my brother, haircut (no comments from the peanut gallery), mowing the lawn...that actually sounds like alot more than what it is.

it is so weird that this is the third reference to "suessical" in less than 24 hours. i watched an ep of "will and grace" last night where grace says, "i saw your father at 'suessical the musical' last night and he is having an affair" and will's response is, "you went to "suessical the musical"???

i am doing design work on various projects today and tonight, and tomorrow i have a recording session at berklee and more design and stuff.

Woody, for my birthday I was given a T-shirt which has the legend "Yeah, I know I need a haircut." Wanna borrow it?

I totally agree with this being the longest week eva!! I started my Sat AM with a meeting downtown and then we ran a few errands. Laundry is on the horizon. Hold me back!!!

Ah, high school theater. I haven't attended since I was participating in high school, but looking back it was oh so bad. Hope there's more talent in your neck of the woods.

Well...that was LAST weekend, technically, and I helped my oldest son get over a heartbreak and we spent an unpleasant Sunday enduring time at a family birthday party where the "birthday boy" is a spoiled seven-year old whose parents indulge him. But, the several glasses of wine I had helped immensely.
