My inner freak is not nearly as magnetic as some people's, but I nevertheless had an odd encounter on my way to work today. I was walking along the sidewalk toward the Orient Heights Dunkin' Donuts when I saw a 30-something guy pulling something over his head from back to front as he walked toward me. Whatever he was holding was kind of beigey-yellow, about the same color as his hair, so at first I thought it was his hair ... maybe part of a wig or fall. Then I thought maybe it was headphones, until I saw him rest a long, squiggly blond thing along his right arm ... and stroke it with his left hand as though it was a pet of some sort. As I got closer, I realized it was a snake. The foot-and-a-halfer had been around the guy's neck until said guy moved it to his forearm for some quality petting.
And I thought the people who take their cats out on leashes were weird.

You could start a whole new viral marketing campaign.
