Wow, that is incredibly sad. I'd heard that the woman and 2 kids had been killed crossing the highway, but I thought it was one of those freak things, like sometimes people DO find some reason (other than this) to try to cross a highway on foot, especially in this part of the world. How terrible that it really wasn't an accident.

I vaguely recall hearing something about the incident when it first happened, but I could not have imagined this. Tragic doesn't even begin to describe it.
