Or watch the video on necn.com, showing Boswell going to the hospital for treatment or having his human read to him from his favorite book, The Iliad? Maybe you heard NPR's interview yesterday with the author of the Globe story instead, in which case you already know that Boswell has started blogging at The Daily Honk.

I've totally been there with my previous cat. Oh the money we spent! The treatments we did, if you didn't know we were talking about a cat, you would be sure we were referring to the treatments of a middle age to elderly *human*. Who knew that you could take your cat's blood pressure? Or that I would have to learn to essentially become a nurse...learning how to inject my cat, learning about how to set up the tubing on an I.V. bag. My cat was even taking the same blood pressure medicine that my boyfriend takes!
I did everything I would have done to save my father or my mother or any family member. And it was *totally* worth every penny. She lived to be 22. Remarkable for a cat.
Ok...sorry to ramble, but you can tell this story really hit home with me. Thanks for pointing out the blog. I'm going to have to keep an eye on that one!
